Filming has officially begun in Thailand on “The Greatest Beer Run Ever,” a film adaptation of Chick Donohue and J.T. Malloy’s best-selling memoir at Skydance Media and the Apple TV+ service.

Zac Efron and Russell Crowe have signed on to star with Efron replacing the initially attached Dylan O’Brien in the role of Donohue.
Peter Farrelly directs the project from a screenplay he co-wrote with “Green Book” co-scribes Brian Currie and Pete Jones. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger produce.
