Marvel Television’s Netflix collaboration gave us multiple shows, with arguably “Daredevil” the most consistent of the three.
The show’s very likeable star Charlie Cox remains a fan favorite and his take on the character the one fans are calling on the most to make the transition to the actual MCU.
Whether we’ll see that is unclear, but the actor says he’s definitely open to coming back. Speaking with SiriusXM’s Jessica Shaw, he says he understands that even if he could come back, it’ll likely be a new version of the character:
“If there was an opportunity for me to come back as Daredevil, whatever that would look like, I imagine that would be a reimagining of the character and the show.”
He then compares it to when a new writer and artist take over a comic line. Should someone else take on the role, would he have any advice? He smilingly says:
“I would go down into my basement, I would find my Daredevil mask, and I would hunt them down. I would make them fight me for it.”
Fans have long been speculating the actor would appear as Matt Murdock in the upcoming “Spider-Man: No Way Home” but Cox himself has denied any such cameo.
