NBCUniversal’s “Chucky,” a revival/continuation of the “Child’s Play” film franchise in TV series form, has been renewed for a second season.
Airing jointly on USA Network and Syfy, the series has reportedly reached 9.5 million viewers in its first season across all platforms.
The order comes ahead of the show’s first season finale airing on Tuesday night with the entire run set to be available via Peacock from Wednesday, December 1st.
“Chucky” is currently the last remaining scripted series on USA Network as the cabler has shifted its focus to sports and unscripted programming.
