Chelsea star Thiago Silva could join Brazilian side Fluminense once his time in England is over, according to their manager.
The centre back moved to Stamford Bridge last summer after running down his contract with PSG.
They spent over £200 million in that transfer window, but Silva’s performances have made him arguably their best signing.

Reports have suggested he will get a one year contract extension beyond this season, despite being 36-years-old.
According to Fluminense manager Marcao, Silva wants a return to Brazil after his time with Chelsea is up.
Asked if they will sign the player, Marcao said (via Sport Witness): “I think so. I’m sure the president will organise the club. And I’m sure that we’ll have the captain here with us. We’ll do everything to bring the captain. He wants it a lot.”
Marcao played with Silva during his time at Fluminense, which is why he calls him captain.
They are thought to have a close relationship, with the defender watching all of Fluminense’s matches.
Silva started his career with the Rio de Janeiro side and returned to play for them in 2007. He subsequently made his name in Europe with both AC Milan and PSG.
He’s formed a strong partnership with Kurt Zouma this campaign, although Antonio Rudiger has been his centre back partner in recent weeks.
The Blues are enduring a torrid spell. They’ve picked up seven points from a possible 21, conceding 11 goals during that time.
They are currently eighth in the Premier League table after gaining 29 points from 19 matches.
Given their huge spending spree in the summer, it’s no wonder Frank Lampard has come under fire.
He will be desperate for a victory in their next league match. They take on Wolves on Wednesday 27th January.
