Rather than announce season premieres, this monthly release schedule highlights when seasons of a series are available in their entirety be it shows releasing a season all at once, or when the season finale of a show released on a weekly release schedule airs so you can watch a whole season or limited series at your own pace.
We’ve also combined that with key movie titles premiering on VOD and SVOD services. Amongst the highlights coming in December are the second seasons of big budget franchise series “The Mandalorian” on Disney+ and “His Dark Materials” on HBO, along with the final season of “Sabrina” on Netflix. There’s also a new take on “The Hardy Boys,” the miniseries remake of “A Teacher,” Shondaland’s new lavish period drama “Bridgerton,” the Kaley Cuoco-led “The Flight Attendant,” and a new “Euphoria” special.
Movie wise it’s a huge month with the world premieres of Pixar’s “Soul” and Patty Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman 1984” at Christmas along with other major movies like David Fincher’s Oscar front runner “Mank,” George Clooney’s “The Midnight Sky,” Francis Lee’s “Ammonite,” Ryan Murphy’s “The Prom,” the animated feature “Wolfwalkers,” Francis Ford Coppola’s recut of “The Godfather Part III,” the celebrated Riz Ahmed-led “Sound of Metal,” the pandemic thriller “Songbird,” Chadwick Boseman’s final film with “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom,” and Steve McQueen’s five-film saga “Small Axe”.
