The Flash
Rick Cosnett is returning to The CW’s “The Flash”. The actor, who played CCPD Detective Eddie Thawne in the first season and was killed off in the finale, will reprise his role for an arc or at least three episodes.
His character is also reportedly being reintroduced in an unconventional way and is said to “embody different characters”. In addition, Cosnett potentially could do more episodes in the ninth season. [Source: Deadline]

Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith are re-teaming for CBS’ “The Equalizer” with Smith to guest star as a prolific amoral thief with a photographic memory. She and Latifah’s Robyn McCall briefly worked together before and something happens to bring the two back together. [Source: TV Line]
Guru Nation
“Mr. Show” trio Bob Odenkirk, David Cross, and Bill Odenkirk are re-teaming for the half-hour mockumentary series “Guru Nation” for the Paramount+ service.
Bob Odenkirk and Cross will play rival cult gurus who fight for the hearts and minds of their faithful (and deluded) followers. Jason Woliner (“Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”) will direct. [Source: Collider]
Washington Black
“Lucifer” actor Tom Ellis has joined the cast of the Sterling K. Brown-led “Washington Black” nine-episode adventure series on Hulu.
Ellis plays a 19th century steam-punk inventor named Christopher ‘Titch’ Wilde. A disturbing death at his family’s sugar plantation catapults him and the titular young stowaway (Ernest Kingsley Jr.) on a remarkable journey across the sky. [Source: Variety]
