With New York Comic-Con underway this weekend, several promo trailers for upcoming genre shows are being shown off.
Things kick off today with a new full trailer for the fourth season of “Star Trek: Discovery” on the Paramount+ service. The new season is set to commence on November 14th.
The now Captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), Saru (Doug Jones) and the other crew deal with a new problem that threatens the galaxy – a gravitational anomaly five light-years across that can wreak devastation at a moment’s notice.
The clip shows off new uniforms, the return of some third season new faces like Oded Fehr, David Ajala, and David Cronenberg, and more.

Also today, Starz has premiered the teaser trailer for the sixth season of its historical fantasy drama “Outlander” which is expected to return in early 2022. This follows on from the recently announced seventh-season pick-up.
The sixth season will be based on “A Breath of Snow and Ashes”,” the sixth book in the eight-book series, and sees a continuation of Claire and Jamie’s fight to protect those they love, as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in colonial America.
