IGN has premiered the teaser trailer for “Independence Day,” “The Day After Tomorrow” and “2012” director Roland Emmerich’s new big-budget disaster feature “Moonfall”.
The story begins when a mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurtling on a collision course with life as we know it.
With mere weeks before impact, a ragtag team launches an impossible last-ditch mission into space to save our planet from annihilation.
Halle Berry, Stanley Tucci, John Bradley, Patrick Wilson, and Charlie Plummer star in the film which Emmerich co-wrote with Harald Kloser and Spenser Cohen.
“Moonfall” opens on February 4th 2022 in the US and UK.
