Los Angeles’ famed New Beverly Cinema, owned and operated by Quentin Tarantino, has announced it will re-open on June 1st with the director’s most recent film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”.
The historic theater has been closed since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, posters are up not just for ‘Once’ but also for “Pulp Fiction” suggesting a screening to celebrate the reopening.
The announcement comes as actress Jennifer Jason Leigh, who worked with Tarantino on “The Hateful Eight,” is reuniting with the filmmaker to narrate the eleven-hour long audiobook version of the novelization of “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” due for release on June 29th.
