New photos have been released of the new adaptation of the Jane Austen novel “Persuasion” starring Dakota Johnson, Henry Golding, and Cosmo Jarvis who all appear in costume in the photos. “Thor” and “Blindspot” star Jaimie Alexander may have a role in the upcoming “Red Sonja” movie after the actress shared a photo on social media of her looking at the film’s script as “light reading” whilst on a plane flight. That Christmas Movie
Locksmith Animation (“Ron’s Gone Wrong”) has set Simon Otto as the director for the holiday feature “That Christmas”. The project is based on a trio of children’s Christmas books written by “Love, Actually” filmmaker Richard Curtis. The Watcher
Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale are set to lead the Netflix limited series “The Watcher” being executive produced by Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan, Eric Newman, Bryan Unkeless, Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman.
The pair play a married couple whose move into their dream home is being threatened by terrifying letters from a stalker. The project, inspired by a famed Dutch colonial revival house in New Jersey, is set to begin filming in the fall. [Source: Deadline]
