Filming of the “Friends” reunion special has wrapped.
The official Instagram account for the show announced the wrap over the weekend in the wake of actor Matthew Perry briefly posting an image of himself in the makeup chair before quickly deleting it.
The account then revealed the image of the iconic logo on the reunion set with a caption that reads: “That’s a wrap! Could we BE anymore excited!? Friends: The Reunion is coming to HBO Max.”
Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), David Schwimmer (Ross Geller), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), and Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing) are back together in the same room for the first time in years along with series creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman.
The project was originally to shoot almost a year ago, but the pandemic put a halt to things and the cast all preferred the possibility of wanting to all be in the same room to do it.
No air date for the special has been announced as yet.
