“The Dark Knight” trilogy co-writer, David S. Goyer, has penned the story for “Batman Unburied” – a DC Comics-inspired narrative podcast that marks the first production of the Warner Bros. and Spotify deal announced in June.
Set to release in 2021, the new podcast will “explore the darker aspects of Bruce Wayne’s psychology.” Goyer will also executive produce the podcast.
In a statement he says: “I’ve been a fan of narrative podcasts for some time and was looking for the right story – returning to Batman seems like the perfect opportunity. We’ll also be using the unique advantages of audio to dig into the more nightmarish members of the Dark Knight’s Rogues Gallery.”
More DC scripted podcasts are also likely to follow.
