Ice cream milkshakes aren’t actually milkshakes because it’s dangerous to shake a blender. They are milk blends. Shaking is for weights, and also for fists when you are unhappy with your neighbor.
So I started with the 1 to 1/3 ice cream to milk ratio but the second ice cream I used was way less dense so I could practically double the ice cream with the same amount of milk. You’ll have to figure it out for yourself, but start with less milk then add it in.
Also, 1.5 cups of ice cream is the perfect amount for a tall glass. 1 cup of ice cream is a more conscious portion. 2 cups of ice cream is perfect for sharing if you don’t want to overdo it.
