Rose Byrne plays a 1980s San Diego housewife who begins to find herself after being introduced to aerobics. Bartlett will play a rival weight loss guru who struggles privately with personal demons. Actor/filmmaker Bradley Cooper has confirmed that filming on the biopic about Broadway composer Leonard Bernstein will begin in May. Cooper directs and stars in the film opposite Carey Mulligan. Steven Spielberg was originally attached to direct with Cooper just starring, but was persuaded by Cooper to let him direct. [Source: Variety]
Hometown Saints
Milo Ventimiglia and his DiVide Pictures have sold drama script “Hometown Saints” to NBC with 20th Television producing. Grainne Godfree and Derek Elliott will pen the script and executive produce.
The series revolves around a retired hockey player who struggles to figure out who he is now and ends up back in his hockey-crazed Minnesota hometown reluctantly coaching a girl’s high school team. [Source: THR]
Uncharted
Sony Pictures has released a new poster for the “Uncharted” feature which opens in cinemas on February 18th. Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg and Antonio Banderas star in the film directed by “Venom” helmer Ruben Fleischer.
