Warner Bros. has released a brand-new trailer for The Batman. Titled “The Bat and the Cat,” the trailer focuses on Batman (Robert Pattinson) and Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz).
The video also further teases what The Riddler (Paul Dano) is up to in regards to his evil plan and some of the riddles he has for Batman. Check out the video below, posted in 4K on Vimeo by director Matt Reeves.
The Batman also features Andy Serkis as Alfred, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, and John Turturro portraying Carmine Falcone.
After a delay, The Batman is now scheduled to come to theaters on March 4, 2022–it will not be released on HBO Max day one. In addition to the movie, a prequel Batman TV series is in the works for HBO Max.
Outside of film, the DC video games Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League are scheduled for release in 2022.
